Edgefit: A Strength, Movement & Restoration Retreat

Five nights in Canggu to rebuild strength, move with purpose and recover properly. This isn’t a bootcamp. It’s a considered programme for people who train hard and rarely get to rest well.

Coached by the EdgeFit Team

Every session on this retreat is programmed and led by the coaching team from EdgeFit Double Bay, working in partnership with Spencer Travel Wellness. The people who coach you at home run the floor in Canggu – so the training carries straight on from where you left off.

Expect daily strength and conditioning blocks, mobility and breathwork, and structured recovery, with full use of COMO Uma Canggu’s gym, yoga and Pilates studios and the COMO Shambhala wellness facilities.

Retreat places are coordinated by Nicolle Whitaker, Wellness Consultant at Spencer Travel Wellness – your single point of contact from booking through to touchdown in Bali.

Canggu, Bali

Train Hard. Recover Properly. Repeat.

Set at Como Uma Canggu, this five-night Edgefit retreat pairs daily functional strength sessions with the recovery tools that usually get skipped at home – mobility work, breathwork, ice baths and proper sleep. Numbers are kept small so coaching stays hands-on and personal throughout.

Five nights’ accommodation in a Deluxe Pool Access Room, daily breakfast, two group lunches, a Welcome Dinner and a Farewell Dinner, daily Edgefit training and recovery sessions, one 60-minute recovery massage, and full use of Como Uma Canggu’s wellness facilities.

Como Uma Canggu sits close enough to Canggu’s energy to feel connected, but the resort itself is calm, contained and built for exactly this kind of programme. Between sessions there’s a proper pool, quiet garden spaces and rooms designed for actual sleep, not just somewhere to drop your bags.

📍 Address: Como Uma Canggu, Bali, Indonesia. Transfer: Guests fly into Denpasar (Ngurah Rai International Airport), with a transfer of around 40 minutes to Canggu arranged as part of your booking. A $500pp deposit secures your place, with final payment due 10 August 2026.

Experience

What Makes This Retreat Special

Three pillars shape every day at Como Uma Canggu: build strength, move well, recover fully.

Functional Strength Training

Daily sessions built around compound movement patterns, progressive load and proper technique, coached in small groups so form is never sacrificed for pace.

Recovery Built In, Not Bolted On

Ice baths, mobility drills, guided breathwork and a recovery massage are scheduled through the week, treated with the same seriousness as the training itself.

Guided by Edgefit Coaches

The Edgefit coaching team brings a background in strength and conditioning, injury prevention and holistic recovery, working with each guest to adjust intensity where it’s needed.

Details

How the Week Unfolds

Day One

Arrive & Assess

Settle in, meet the Edgefit coaches and complete a movement assessment so the week ahead can be tailored to where you’re actually at. The evening closes with a Welcome Dinner and a briefing on what to expect.

Days Two & Three

Build & Move

Morning strength sessions, mobility drills and a group lunch make up the core of these two days, with afternoon time free to rest, swim or explore Canggu before an evening recovery session.

Day Four

Recover & Restore

Training intensity eases back to focus on recovery, with a lighter mobility session, guided breathwork, an ice bath and your included recovery massage. An afternoon left open for genuine downtime.

Day Five

Integrate & Depart

A final light training session and a group session on taking the programme home, covering how to keep training and recovery habits going once you’re back. The retreat closes with a Farewell Dinner before departures on day six.
